Past a certain point the engine stops being the hard part. Fuel system, drivetrain and the transmission behind it all have to come along, and all of that happens in this building.
We do more DOD, AFM and DFM deletes on late-model GM trucks than any other shop in New Jersey. Everybody knows the lifter issue on the newer trucks. Caught early this is a clean job and the cheapest insurance on the truck. Caught late it is a teardown.
Manual transmissions and differentials are both done on our own benches. Yours does not leave the building and it does not sit in someone else’s queue. We split the case, measure it, photograph it and send you a written report before a single part gets ordered.
Automatics are the one exception — those we send out, and we will tell you that up front.
I brought my truck in for some basic repairs and to have the tune gone over. Matt did an awesome job on everything. He is very knowledgeable and kept me informed with everything. The quality of work is really good as well.

I first came to this shop in 2022 to have the transmission rebuilt on my C5 Corvette. Since then I have entrusted Matt with my car. He has been an amazing person to deal with.

We are dealers for Ignite and we keep their grades in stock all year round — E85, E98 and E90. Call ahead and it is drawn and waiting, or have us fill and tune on the same visit. We run it in our own cars.
Late-model GM owners come to us from across Ocean and Monmouth County, and transmissions and differentials ship in from out of state. If you can trailer it here, we can work on it.
